Why I Ride

There are many deserving causes to support.  Most of us support a cause because we have been personally touched by it.  Throughout the year Floors & Shades DIRECT donates time, money and business resources to a few.  We ride in cancer events, provide motorcycle support for the Face of America ride and support greyhound adoption.

Why You Should Sponsor Me

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from Bike MS to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today. Because we can fight this disease by simply riding a bike, because we have chosen to help thousands of people through a contribution to Bike MS, we are now getting closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, "You have MS."

I wanted to let you know of a program that Floors & Shades DIRECT recently set up.  

We pride ourselves on keeping the waste factor down for our clients.  There will always be waste with carpet since it only comes in 12 and 15 foot widths.  And not all rooms are that width, or might have a closet, stairs, so on.  

So, with the permission of our clients that are having new carpet installed, we will take some of the cut scraps that can not be used and bring to the local Greyhound Adoption center to line the crates.

We are happy to support the local Greyhound Adoption center as well as other Animal Shelters.  Please consider adopting a pet from your local animal shelter when looking to bring home a pet.
